I love designing these workshops to feel relaxed, thoughtful, and approachable — a chance to slow down, gather around the table, and make something inspired by the season, the setting, and the little details around us.
Each session begins with 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨 guests can use throughout the workshop — washes, layering, texture, brushwork, color mixing, and ways to create movement with water.
From there, everyone creates 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 as a way to explore, loosen up, and practice without pressure. These smaller pieces give guests time to play with shells, shoreline colors, ocean textures, and collected beach details before moving into their larger final painting.
For the main piece, guests choose what they loved most from their studies and use what they’ve learned to 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 that feels personal and their own.
